1. Eligibility
Typical eligibility criteria for the ADHN course are:
Completion of 10+2 (or equivalent high school) from a recognized board.
Some institutes may accept 10th pass + IT/Hardware fundamentals for slightly longer durations.
Age/other criteria may vary by institute — always check the institute’s brochure.
2. Learning Outcomes / What You Will Gain
On completion of the ADHN you should be able to:
Understand and assemble computer hardware: PC architecture, power-supply, motherboard, drives, peripherals.
Install, configure, maintain operating systems (Windows, Linux) and device drivers.
Design, install and maintain local area networks (LAN), understand routers/switches, IP addressing, cabling etc.
Troubleshoot hardware and networking issues: diagnosing failures, repairing/replacing components, network fault-finding.
Be job-ready for roles like hardware technician, network support engineer, system/IT support, IT infrastructure maintenance.
Optionally: manage servers, understand network services (DHCP, DNS), basic security in hardware & networks
